Sidereal sky, sigils, and botanical blends

Dragons Apothecary is an editorial journal for sidereal astrology, the making of sigils, esoteric inquiry, and herbal blends, approached through careful observation and written study.

Sidereal positions are anchored to the stars themselves, so a chart can be checked against the sky instead of accepted as convention.

Comparing tropical and sidereal placements shows why the two systems read the same sky differently, and where that difference matters.

Every entry here starts with something that can be looked at, measured, or handled. We follow the question it raises rather than rushing toward a promise about what will happen.

A sigil is a made symbol, and the choices behind its form are part of the practice. We trace historical symbolism and manuscript traditions, then set them beside the annotated study that shows how a mark is drawn.

Sigil geometry, construction, and deliberate practice are documented step by step, so each mark can be understood before it is used.
